Я нашла evaluation reports с биографиями чуваков из SF! Оказывается, их рекомендовал тот же чувак, который собрал вместе коммандосов... что странно, потому что ребята из SF работают на Америку, а коммандосы - на Великобританию. Ну да ладно.

У Хокинса день рождения почти-почти в один день со мной! Уиии! И вообще биографии огонь, хочу такие же подробности про коммандосов.
А Браун родился в XIX веке! И йессс, я угадала, что он старше Фрэнка лет на десять.

И кстати. Полное имя Фрэнка - Фрэнсис?! Блин, если Браун действительно хотел бы его осадить, он бы к нему обратился не по званию, а как-то вроде "Твоё мнение меня не интересует, ФРЭНСИС". Правда, тут же бы из кустов выпрыгнул Герцог в лесной маскировке с воплями "ЭТО НОРМАЛЬНОЕ МУЖСКОЕ ИМЯ, ПЛЕБЕИ НЕОТЁСАННЫЕ!!!11"... И Инферно такой: "Холодный и расчётливый, м-да", и Призрак такой: "По-моему, полковнику Смиту стоит перестать доверять составление психологических портретов..."

The Colonel’s rank, tactical mind and leadership skills make him the perfect choice for command of this Commando strike force unit. His stealth and language skills will allow him to get close and eliminate enemy targets without attracting attention. His use of the German language and Nazi military disguises will allow him to infiltrate and mimic enemy soldiers to gain intelligence on enemy plans and strategic positions. All these attributes will prove invaluable to the overall success of the campaign. Whilst we know very little about Brown’s history and background, he is driven by one single desire - to defeat the Nazis. A desire so strong within him that I can comment that it seems almost personal.

BACKGROUND:
The death of his mother while Francis was at the tender age of three was a turning point in his life. The authorities, not knowing who his father was, sent him to St Mary’s Orphanage. After some years at the orphanage Francis regarded the Sisters as his family. Through discipline and rigid study they developed his eager mind and body and soon found him to be of superior intellect and physical prowess. Growing up in such a regimented lifestyle stood Francis in good stead. He remained at the orphanage until his eighteenth birthday where he excelled as a student and won a scholarship to Columbia University. Francis attained an honours degree in engineering and embarked on a distinguished career in a
variety of senior posts. His work took him to many major European cities including Paris and Berlin.
In 1939, Francis’ life was to undergo a massive change. Poland was being invaded by the Nazis. Struck by an enormous sense of duty and unable to fight alongside the US army, he joined the British Engineer corps.
During the Dunkirk evacuation and surrounded by Nazis, he led his squad in a suicidal attack and they managed to reach the beach and escape.
Back in England, his skills were recognised and he was recruited to the Commando unit.

COMMENTS ON PERFORMANCE:
O’Brien has come through all of his special training with flying colours. He will be an extremely valuable member of any special forces team. His physical and mental strength betters anyone I have seen in my time as an officer. He is by no means a humourist and his cold and calculating nature singles him out as a soldier through and through. He is here through duty to do what is right and defeat the evil that threatens our world.

Наши с автором текста понятия "cold and calculating" явно очень сильно различаются. Герцог и Наташа да, но Фрэнк? Фрэнк "Открыто-угрожающий-полковнику-из-за-неподтверждённых-подозрений" О'Брайен? Серьёзно?

BACKGROUND:
Born into a poor family in London’s East End. His early years were spent trying to make money for his family any way he could. He developed an ability for blending into the background and picking the pockets of the more affluent (which was most people). His father, also intent on ensuring his family had food on the table would poach animals in and around the Essex area. Upon reaching eleven years old his Father asked him to join in one of his poaching missions. A stolen rifle and five bullets later a stunned father would note that his son was something of a natural. Over the next few years, both spent much time honing William’s skills and eating well at the expense of the owners of the 16th century manor house in which
they hunted.
One day however William’s father was caught attempting to escape after one of their “Shopping trips”. Instead of turning him over to the police the owners said that they had been watching his son’s ability with a rifle and wanted to meet with him. William returned and when requested by the owners demonstrated his marksmanship on a target placed on an Oak tree over 100 yards away. Amazed by his ability, the owners informed William and his father that they wanted William to accompany them. They were to depart on an expedition into Africa and that his prowess could indeed prove useful.
Between 1930 and 1939 he embarked on many thrill-seeking expeditions all over the world. His abilities with a rifle would save his and his new friends many times. His travels took him to the Himalayas and the jungles of Borneo and Madagascar.
Always living on the edge, his life was nearly lost on numerous occasions; one particular example being that of a fall whilst climbing with no safety ropes in Tanzania.
After the outbreak of the war in 1939, he returned home. His lust for travel and excitement seemed to point him in one very specific direction. He decided to join the Army stating “it sounded like fun”.

COMMENTS ON PERFORMANCE:
The joker in the pack, a thrill seeker but prone to being immature. Hawkins has no regard for the value of his own life but shows great commitment to his fellow man in team exercises, often putting his own safety at risk to ensure that of others. Although regarded as a maverick, his incredible accuracy with a sniper rifle, precision with a knife, and all round skills in the field make him impossible not to include in this unit. He will be invaluable on missions in which the enemy must be eliminated without giving away his position.
Hawkins is a little unpredictable at times and was recently disciplined for shooting a pigeon off the roof of the general’s jeep, whilst the general was in it. My feeling toward him is that he is here for excitement and doesn’t take what we are doing seriously.
However, his skills must not be ignored.

Мне нравится, как он философски принял тот факт, что Хокинс тратит патроны на фигню. В СССР его бы за такое застрелили вслед за голубем, ага. Но вообще эта история тоже прекрасна, как сам Хокинс.
