Смотрю Exporting Raymond про то, как создатель сериала Everybody loves Raymond поехал в Россию заниматься адаптацией сериала (которая стала в итоге богомерзкими "Ворониными"). Впечатлили следующие вещи на данный момент.
1. У переводчицы сценариста "Рэймонда" адовый акцент и она тормозит при формулировании фразы и слова подбирает так себе, хотя и ошибок прямо пока не делает. Может, мне тоже пойти в переводчики при киностудиях? Мне явно хватит квалификации.

2. Водитель Эльдар прекрасен тем, что айе, русские мужики. Он берёт и убегает посреди разговора, чтобы сделать нужную вещь (подогнать машину или заплатить за парковку), безо всяких переходов.

3. "О, тут ехать десять минут". Следующий кадр - конечно же, пробка, с надписью "Два часа спустя"

4. Вообще весь этот диалог несчастного сценариста с русским костюмером на студийном совещании
-It's pretty simple, I think. Everything from the costumes, sets, hair and makeup should be 100 % believable. Because I think the idea is for the show to be as relatable as it can be to regular people.
-I would like it to look more trendy. To educate people, let them understand more about clothes and fashion and style. Take into consideration,
that our women love to dress up and to dress beautifully.
-Even at home, even as a housewife?
-She can't always wear some kind of a sweater and think only about kids because she won't keep her family like that. She understands the trends, and she knows the fashion and knows how to dress beautifully.
-She knows how to dress beautifully, but maybe her frustration is that she doesn't get the opportunity.
-Why don't we give her this opportunity?
-I don't know if you want to change the show to fit a fashion. You don't like that?
-Won't it be boring?

-I just think that you want to go for a kind of everyman quality. [Дальше про кандидата на капсе] An interesting choice to bring in. If he can't do it, maybe we could get Dolph Lundgren to do it.
